What Are the Best Bass Fishing Lures To Attract Big Bass Fish?

So, my uncle and I have this ongoing family feud. You should see him! When he catches more fish than me, he struts around for a week straight and reminds me about it every time he sees me. And then he asks over and over, “So, how many fish have you caught lately?”

According to him, plastic worms are the best when it comes to bass fishing lures. I reckon he knows what he’s talking about, most of the time. He’s proven it more than once, after all. When I’m sitting around with my bucket empty, and he’s hauling in a monstrous bass, I could just push him overboard.

However, on our last trip to catch bass fish, I definitely out-fished him. He was scowling at me the whole time I was pulling in fish after fish after fish!

This is how I did it. For my bass fishing lures, I chose crankbait. Bass fish like them because they’re like tender steaks, and they look somewhat like crayfish or baitfish. Since they do well in most kinds of water, these are great fishing lures to add to your repertoire.

I also keep spinnerbaits as a supplement. These little guys look like baitfish, and they are great for catching bass quickly, and catching larger ones. They are versatile in that they do well in most waters, and they come in assorted colors.

I pulled in so much bass that day, we had more than enough to eat like kings that evening and still have some left over for breakfast. I tried to cheer up my uncle by suggesting that he could have his fish as the appetizer. I’m starting to get good at this fishing thing. All I have to do now is get my own big fish story about ‘the one that got away’!
